Considering March of 2018, the app store of apple includes more than 2.1 million iOS applications and collectively these mobile apps have been downloaded 130 billion times.



Developed by Google, Android is a mobile operating system that is simply based on a modified version of the Linux Kernel and other open-source systems.
Android has 450,000 apps in its market and here the downloaded apps have expanded to 10 billion in the count. Since 2011 and 2013 tablet version, Android is said to be the best-selling OS in the world.


Blackberry OS is a proprietary operating system developed by Blackberry Ltd. for its line of smartphones.
Known for providing multitasking benefits, this operating system also supports complete wireless activation and synchronization with Lotus Domino and Microsoft Exchange.

Windows Phone

Microsoft launched its mobile operating system called the Windows Phone in late 2010. The aim of this mobile OS was to target the consumer market. This mobile operating system was a replacement of the Windows Mobile and Zune.
The Windows Phone offers a new user interface Metro which merges the operating system with the third party and other Microsoft services
